NT Writers' Festival - WORDSTORM

Held over four days, the NT Writers' Festival showcase the talents of writers, poets and spoken word artists from across the Northern Territory.

Add to this visits, workshops, book launches, performance and more, featuring inspirational writers from interstate and Indonesia, and you have the makings of one super-inspiring writers' festival.

This year’s theme is Fabric of Family, encouraging creative wordsmiths to talk about their families, whether biological or chosen. Visiting artists include well-loved actress and comedian Magda Szubanski, popular ABC broadcaster Richard Glover, Indonesia’s rising star Eka Kurniawan, winner of the NT Book of the Year Marie Munkara, and fiction writer Tony Birch.

It would appear 2016 is set to be another highly anticipated celebration of great writers and the crafted word.
