The Armed Man

Following the successful performance of Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man on ANZAC Day 2015, the Darwin Chorale is repeating this emotional and spellbinding production.

With a mass choir, orchestra and WW1 images supplied by Darwin locals, this emotion-charged WW1 commemorative work combines reflective and breathtakingly beautiful music with a focus on the effects of war, the heartache of the survivors and a poignant remembrance of those who gave their lives.  Concluding with a message of hope, ‘Better is Peace’, this performance is conducted by Darwin Chorale Music Director Michael Loughlin. Don’t miss this powerful production with some 80 performers in this extraordinary musical masterpiece.
