DIFF 2022 - Maika

The first Vietnamese sci-fi feature film for kids, Maika is a heart-warming tale of courage and friendship. After the death of his mother, 8 year-old Hung finds comfort in his growing obsession with space. Observing a meteor shower one night, Hung witnesses a spaceship crash-landing. He befriends the young pilot, Maika, but her ship is damaged and her companion lost in the accident. To make matters worse, greedy landlords and ruthless space entrepreneurs are also coming at them!
