Since the late 1800s, the buffalo has been at the centre of an industry that has attracted adventurous and daring individuals. Regarded by many as Australia's most dangerous terrestrial animal, the buffalo can be a monster in a fragile, watery environment. Yet those who domesticate and farm the creature, regard it as gentle, with many commercial attributes.
