Blending traditional and contemporary imagery, Kate Beynon, visiting Archibald Prize artist, presents a workshop for budding artists. Shaped by her interests in storytelling, mixed cultural identity, guardian figures and creatures, Kate’s work has long been inspired by hybrid influences, including the Chinese paintings of her late maternal grandfather, animation, film, textiles and fashion.
