Calls to 1194 is immersive, electronic storytelling based on the near-death experience of writer, Sandra Thibodeaux, who performs the text with a live soundtrack created by Panos Couros on a subharmonicon. Together, they create a fusion of voice, harmonics, heartbeats and a talking clock, offering a story that, as Nicky Fearn puts it, is “beautifully told with an expansive and deeply atmospheric soundtrack."
