Michael Leunig is a cartoonist, writer, painter, philosopher and poet. His commentary on political, cultural and emotional life spans more than 50 years and has often explored the idea of an innocent and sacred personal world. Performing as part of Darwin International Jazz & Arts Festival, Leunig delivers ponderings while painting live, with his work projected on screen for the audience to follow accompanied by a musician playing live on stage.
