Devotion – Hannah Kent with Sarah L'Estrange

In this festival highlight event, Hannah Kent, author of the international best-seller Burial Rites, is joined by producer of ABC Radio National’s The Book Show, Sarah L’Estrange, for a discussion about her most recent work, Devotion. A historical novel about German-speaking Lutheran migrants seeking religious freedom in a new land, Devotion is also a tale of a passionate love between two women that, at the time, could not be put into words.
