DIFF 2022 - Decision to Leave

Detective Hae-joon is investigating the death of a man who fell from a mountaintop in suspicious circumstances. The investigation leads him to the dead man’s wife Seo-rae, who becomes the prime suspect. Hae-joon and Seo-rae feel an unexpected affinity for each other, and he soon finds himself falling for his suspect. Park Chan-wook deftly weaves this beautifully framed neo-noir with outstanding performances, luscious cinematography and his trademark humour and playfulness.
