Description
Only the River Flows is a masterfully crafted story that draws the audience in and keeps them engaged throughout. Set in 1990s rural China, a woman’s body is found by the river. Chief of the Criminal Police, Ma Zhe, heads up the murder investigation that leads to a swift and obvious arrest. Despite the apparent resolution, and with congratulations still ringing in his ears from his superiors, Ma Zhe is pushed to investigate further.
