Foreshore Film Night with Miyarrka Media

Miyarrka Media, a Gapuwiyak-based arts collective, is hosting a special screening of their award-winning short film Ringtone, which looks at the suprising role of mobile phones in contemporary Yolŋu life. Three shorts films by Michif Artist Amanda Strong – Biidaaban, Flood, and Four Faces of the Moon – are also screening at the same session, followed by a Q&A and discussion with the filmmakers. Bring a chair or rug to sit on and a picnic or grab some tucker from the food trucks nearby.
