Garrmalang Festival - The Gary Lang Story

Founder and Artistic Director of NT Dance Company, Gary Lang pioneered the ground-breaking dance form called Aboriginal Ballet that fuses First Nations dance with classical ballet. The melding of the two ancient dance practices has seen this innovative artform communicating First Nations stories on spirit, love, hope, loss and healing. But where did he begin? 

The Gary Lang Story opens a door into Lang's past inviting audiences into honest, fun and raw memories regaled with a dash of controversy, offering a unique and entertaining insight into the renowned Larrakia man.
