Garrmalang Festival presents Numanggwa-Gum | Blak Talk – Gununu Gwiyarrwa and Nimik (Law Trouble & Young People) – Crime and Youth Justice. It’s been five years since the White/Gooda Royal Commission into the Protection and Detention of Children in the NT published its report along with its 217 recommendations. And yet, five years on, the situation has not improved. Expert and experienced views are canvassed in this session, moderated by Matt Cunningham and followed by a Q&A session from the general public, to inform and assist the community in effectively addressing this important issue.
