Jijta - Exhibition Opening

Jijta is a collaboration between two Larrakia sisters, Cyan and Mikaela Earnshaw. Growing up in a highly creative and artistic family, expressing themselves through art has been a lifelong practice. After living in different parts of the globe, Cyan and Mikaela were reunited on their ancestral lands of Gulumerrogin country, Darwin. Their respective art styles had developed separately – a wish to compare and explore these differences resulted in this collaboration.
