Landmarks is the sequel to Pennyrose Wiggins’ 2017 exhibition, NeighbourHOODS at Outstation Gallery.
Scenes distinctive of the Northern Territory are decisively painted onto aluminium signs with great finesse and rigor.
Haunting, yet alluring apparitions of the natural and artificial Top End environment emerge from and disappear into the objects on which they are painted, heightening the viewer’s awareness of our coexistence with nature.
