Off The Leash - Statement on COVID-19

UPDATE: Tue 26 May, 2020

To our wonderful readers,   I just wanted to slide in with an exciting update... Off The Leash is returning to print for the July edition! As we rely on advertising revenue to be able to go to print each month, we weren't able to print in May and June due to the effects of coronavirus and the cancellation of events. We need to be sure we can generate the income required to underpin our costs, so we'll assess the feasibility of going to print on a month-by-month basis for the remainder of 2020. Team OTL is thrilled to return in print for July to showcase the vibrant (and resilient!) art, culture and community of the Top End. July is set to be a very special edition of Off The Leash – we can't wait to get it into your hot little hands!

STATEMENT: Wed 1 Apr, 2020

To our wonderful readers,   Due to recent developments surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Off The Leash will cease printing the hard copy magazine until further notice.    Off The Leash relies on advertising revenue to be able to go to print each month, and with the cancellation of events for the foreseeable future, we’re unable to generate the income required to underpin our costs.   In the meantime, we will continue to support the Top End community via our website and social media to share articles from the April edition (because they’re still great reads!), information on local businesses, special projects and opportunities from the Top End’s creative community, live-streamed or online events, feel-good stories and tips for self-isolation.   We are so proud to promote the wonderful art and events in the Top End community and look forward to continuing to deliver this special, inclusive and community-minded monthly magazine in the future. I have a feeling the Top End will be hungry for things to do and see at the end of this, and we look forward to telling you all about it when this blows over.   Hang in there, everyone. We’ll be seeing you!
