Local Food Challenge: Okra Cooking Class

Okra is a small green tropical vegetable grows year-round in Darwin. Join the team from GULP NT and COOLmob to learn how to cook okra three different ways with Dr. Kamal Melvani, a Sri Lankan researcher at CDU who specialises in food security and forest farming. Prepare and share Indian-style sautéed okra, Sri Lankan stir-fried okra and okra marinated in yoghurt, a dish from North India. Yum!
