Memento

The word memento is a combination of moment and memory. A beautiful place, favourite object, significant event or special person, captured as a moment in time to store in our memories. Painted, sketched, photographed, sculpted or assembled from found objects, it is a human obsession to acquire and create precious keepsakes. This exhibition presents work by seven Territory artists – Marita Albers, Kate Fernyhough, Ingrid Gersmanis, Linda Joy, Sandra Kendell, Marlene Kranz and Sonia Martignon.
