Following the inaugural Memento exhibition in 2021, these seven NT artists are teaming up again for Memento 22: A Journey. They use small-scale work to address the human obsession of acquiring and creating precious keepsakes. Examining the notion of a journey. Reflecting on what a journey means to them, connecting their individual memories and moments, establishing our desire to seek new experiences, whether they be physical, emotional, or vicariously through the observations of others.
