Merrepen Arts and Music Festival

Hit the road and head 240 kilometres south-west of Darwin, where you'll find the welcoming community of Nauiyu. There is so much packed in to this two-day festival, including food and art stalls, cultural tours, ceramic pot decorating with well-known ceramic artist Heidi Strachan, a jumping castle, music performances including local band Niniuch, and painting workshops – you can even print your own tea towel! The Merrepen Gallery has specials running throughout the weekend, including 25 per cent off all screen-printed fabric.

Free camping is available but bookings are essential. So head down to Daly and experience Nauiyu.
