NTWF 2020: Arelhekenhe Angkentye - Women’s Talk

Arelhekenhe Angkentye: Women’s Talk is a brand-new, all women, all Arrernte poetry collection where mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers and daughters share poems about struggle, heartache, happiness, and the joy of being yourself.

These women are constantly stretched across two incongruent worlds. The world of Arrernte language – culture, kinship, country and knowledge – and the modern world, with its ongoing colonisation and relentless pressures.
