NTWF 2020: Mangroves Story Walk

Led by local mangrove ecologist, Kristin Metcalfe, this walk follows a sandy track from the landward edge of the mangroves to the expansive mudflats of Ludmilla Bay.

Along the way, hear stories of forests in flood, mermaids and more from Kaye Aldenhoven, Kelly Lee Hickey, Kristin Metcalfe and Marie Munkara, in an intimate encounter with this unique ecosystem.

Walkers can expect to get their feet wet and the track to be slippery in places. This event is not wheelchair accessible.
