"My identity exists across cultural spaces and my art tries to integrate that. Being part of a family, a tribe and a community but also being my own autonomous self with unique experiences. The art allows me to explore this self-discovery. Who am I? Where do I fit in? These are questions I have asked all my life. When I was younger, I tried hard to fit in, and it was exhausting.
