Peck & Snap is the inaugural public gallery solo exhibition by Katherine based artist, Mandy Tootell. Inspired by her 2019 Territory Wildlife Park Artist in Residence, Tootell’s body of artwork utilises intertwining techniques and mediums to represent birds and animals, indigenous to the Northern Territory. Self-described as "highly decorative gentle arts", Peck & Snap combines painting, ceramics, free-motion stitching and printmaking (lino and cyanotype).
