Rabbit Proof Fence – Deckchair Cinema

An epic Australian true story set in 1931 on the edge of the Gibson Desert. Three girls are stolen from their mothers and land and removed to a ‘Home’ in the south. They run away and, using their early cultural learning and determination, attempt to follow the rabbit proof fence 1,200 miles home. Wonderful performances from all, particularly treasured Indigenous actors, Ningali Lawford and David Gulpilil.
