Sonia Martignon - A Fragile Existence

Sonia Martignon’s art practice records the unique tropical landscape of Darwin and surrounds using a visual language of graphite, acrylic and pyrogravure. Intricate landscapes and cut out wall sculptures document this Arcadian paradise. Her imagery is driven by an intense curiosity of nature, landscape and mythology. A Fragile Existence addresses the precarious state of our natural world and documents its riches of colour, shape, spirit and mood.
