Description 

Grounded in MAGNT's Tiny Territory exhibition, this workshop is an introduction to insects in Australia; their ecology, diversity and distribution, as well as a primer on ethical collecting and museum curation. Participate in active collecting and learn to pin a specimen to take home, as well as explore the MAGNT insect collection and Tiny Territory exhibition with curators Nick Volpe, Lucyna Kania and MAGNT Head of Science Dr Kirsti Abbott.
