IF TINDER AIN’T WORKING for you, it might be time to revist the old-school tactic of meeting the love of your life (or the night) at the pub. You could give that a try, or you could head to the inaugural Darwin River Raver BnS Ball, where all pub-goers are there for the same reason – they’re all looking for love.
We had a chat with the event’s coordinator Loz Booth who gave us the low-down on the hoedown.
Do you think there’s a good chance of finding love?
A lot of singles have signed up who want to try the ‘old-school’ way of meeting someone by having a good conversation – no Tinder needed! If nothing else, we hope the event creates many friendships, that could possibly become more.
What’s the dress code?
Friday night is our Aussie Icons Party with prizes and giveaways. Saturday night, punters can suit up or dress in their best bridal attire – but don’t forget it will get dirty out there, and there may be a food dye fight…
What kind of attitude should punters head down with?
We want everyone to have fun, enjoy the ambience, and make this the first of many Darwin River Raver BnS Balls to happen in the Top End.
