Health and Wellness Festival

The 2018 Health And Wellness Festival is all about finding your pathway to a healthier life.More than 50 exhibits, activities and speakers will transform the Darwin Waterfront into a healthy hub for the return of the annual festival.

Organiser from Helping People Achieve John McNeur says it’s a great opportunity to kick start a new health and well-being journey.

“Our core message this year is, ‘what is going to be your pathway to health and wellness in 2018?’,” he says.

“The festival is a vast menu of opportunity for people to explore and experience activities all looking at what we put in, and how we look after, our bodies and minds.

“I think most of the exhibitors and speakers will talk to that – it might be optometrist Helen Sommers talking about looking after your eyes, or the Naturally Cheeky girls talking about the advantage of apple cider vinegar, or community groups like Volunteers NT talking about the personal value of making a contribution to society.”

Among the exhibits will be a chill-out area to enjoy the Waterfront, and a safe place for the kids to run around.

“The event has an undeniable energy about it,” McNeur says.

“It’s a safe, healthy, vibrant, energetic festival which allows people to dip in and out of things they want to explore.”
