Mayali Mulil Festival

Hit the road to Kakadu for the Mayali Mulil Festival, a yearly gathering to share and connect with the diversity of Aboriginal cultures.

Murdudjurl Dance GroupTaking place on Murumburr Country in Murdudjurl community, enjoy three jam-packed days of bush walks and talks, food and art stalls, and workshops – with everything from pandanus weaving and traditional dancing to fishing and spear throwing.

Mulil means many – in this case a large gathering of people coming together and connecting under the umbrella of Mayali language and culture. Join the gathering and share in this unique experience with culture, community and country at its core.

Two sunset concerts in the glorious outdoors feature Aboriginal bands and artists, including the likes of the legendary Shellie Morris and Black Rock Band. There are also plenty of fun activities for the kids, as well as bush-tucker experiences and more, so it’s a great experience for the whole fam!
