POUR

Catching up with friends for good quality coffee sound good? How about admiring some unique home wares in a funky new industrial inspired cafe?

By Tierney White

Darwin's newest cafe POUR is the clear choice. Located in Rapid Creek, POUR is the brainchild of friends, mothers and owners, Michelle and Yolanda.

“Michelle’s a stylist and wanted to start up a home wares store and with my background in coffee, we thought we’d combine them to offer something different”, co-owner Yolanda said.

“We both felt there wasn’t enough on offer in the northern suburbs, especially for mums wanting to catch up for a sneaky cuppa during school hours. It made sense for us to join forces,” she added.

Not only do POUR offer quality coffee, they’ve responded to public demand and now provide breakfast and lunch options, having employed a qualified chef just last month.

“Initially it was just meant to be coffee but we now offer organic and wholesome food, including my signature paleo banana bread if you feel like being a bit naughty. We also invite local designers and artists to contact us if they’d like their products sold in store” explained Yolanda.

So if you’re feeling POUR-ly, spill in to POUR and experience this lovely new concept in coffee and quirky home wares.
