Darwin Community Dinners - Bagot

Darwin Community Dinners have a new venue for their July event – Bagot Community Hall.

Since Darwin Community Arts (DCA) moved from Malak to Coconut Grove the monthly dinners have been on hiatus, but a special collaboration with Bagot means they will have a unique venue in the hall this month.

Co-organiser Leisa Govan says it’s great to be able to tap into their new neighbours.

“I’m so excited to have the dinner there,” she says.

“Since we moved from Malak we have been wanting to have community dinners in different places.”

The food will be provided by My Sisters’ Kitchen with some local traditional food expected to be added to the menu.

There will be a variety of entertainment, including music, theatre and spoken word.

MON 30 JUL | 6-8PM | BAGOT COMMUNITY HALL | DONATION | FREE, VOLUNTEERS darwincommunityarts.org.au
