Sing the Camino

If singing up a storm is your idea of a great Sunday morning, set aside July 22 for a sumptuous singing session with choir director extraordinaire Jessie Vintila. Journey in song through the rolling green hills of north western Spain, get a bit tiddly with some rollicking Galician drinking songs and raise your voice in classic gospel, folk and bluegrass.

It’s a great opportunity to sample the musical aspect of Sing the Camino, the singing-walking adventure which Vintila leads every year – a filled-to-the-brim bucket list experience on the ancient pilgrimage trails in Northern Spain and Portugal. Sing the Camino is the brainchild of Vintila and her partner Emma Royle, whose shared love of travel, hiking, food, wine and song inspired the unique idea when they were touring Europe with their band, The Lucky Wonders, back in 2013.

No Spanish language or singing experience is needed, all are welcome.
