DIFF 2023 - Perfect Days

Routine is Hirayama’s best friend in this  inspirational ode to simple but profound pleasures. Each day he wakes, grooms himself, waters his plants and, with a smile, casts his eyes toward the sky as he leaves home. Heading to Shibuya, Tokyo where Hirayama works as a toilet cleaner, he listens to classic rock tunes on cassette tapes – the soundtrack to his day consists of The Velvet Underground, The Kinks, Prince and Van Morrison.
