Mandjabu reflects the harmonic relationship between Kunwinjku people and their fresh water country. The progress of Mandjabu (fish trap) created to catch fish for food to feed families is celebrated in this exhibition. Such fish traps are now fashioned into finely woven sculptural fibre pieces.
